Photography is a rather new art form for me having been a jewelry
designer for most of my working life.(see link)

Like my jewelry I am often drawn ,to feelings, moods and forms
of the past. I try to capture images that have a certain visual wow
but also look for deeper meanings that reflect the human story.
So far I enjoy using color or traces of color than b+w.

My own peculiar loss of  family,tribe and heritage  concentrates my
facination with the past.The old nostalgic days we only read about but can
never really know.I enjoy capturing a glimpse.

Born on the island of Trinidad she has always been my home.In my lifetime
I dared witness this young emerging nation evolve through deep social
struggle to find peace in itself.Unfortinately like all young children
teething problems threaten and although prosperous from oil their is
much social decay with the human resource developing slowly.It is
here in a chaotic melting pot of colourful peoples and cultures that I record
my nostalgic Trini narratives.

Photography has great elements,its outdoorsy,creative,risky,with a wide and steep
learning curve if you want to be consistantly world class!.It has changed my life in
positive ways and  so this is a testimony to the great art of picture taking.
